Position Summary
- Housekeeping: Execute housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities, including dusting and damp mopping floors in designated areas, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning patient room and dining furniture. Ensure the removal and disposal of waste and undertake any other related tasks as directed.
- Safety: Utilize protective gear for all relevant tasks, responsibly mix and use cleaning solutions while adhering to safety protocols, promptly report equipment or product needs to supervisors, and maintain established safety and quality standards. Abide by infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Punctuality: Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality, adhere to cleaning schedules, and respond promptly and appropriately to paging systems.
- Customer Experience: Exemplify HCSG’s values by following directives and maintaining courteous interactions with supervisors, coworkers, and client staff.
- Resident Experience: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions while performing routine, repetitive tasks.
- After completing required training, utilize leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently without compromising safety.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must consistently arrive at work on time as scheduled.
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as required by state, local, and/or client mandates is necessary.
- Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for prolonged periods.
- Capable of executing routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Residency in the service area is required.
