Position Summary

• Housekeeping: Responsible for performing cleaning duties such as dusting, damp mopping floors, and sanitizing bathrooms. You will also clean and sanitize patient room furniture, sitting areas, and dining room furniture, as well as manage trash removal and other related tasks as assigned.
• Safety: Must utilize protective gear and follow safety precautions in the mixing and use of cleaning solutions while ensuring established standards and guidelines are met. You will also report equipment or cleaning product needs and adhere to infection control policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and arrive punctually. Complete the assigned cleaning area on schedule and respond to the paging system promptly.
• Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by adhering to instructions and demonstrating courtesy and cooperation with supervisors, coworkers, and client staff.
• Resident Experience: Ensure positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

• Exhibit a positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions while performing routine tasks daily.
• Upon completing training, demonstrate leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities independently and safely.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be reliable with a commitment to punctuality.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform continuous routine tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
• Residence within the service area is required.
