Position Summary

  • Housekeeping: Responsible for performing housekeeping duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors in assigned areas, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and ensuring patient room and common area cleanliness. Removal and disposal of trash and related tasks as assigned.
  • Safety: Must utilize protective gear as required, ensure safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions, and meet established standards, safety, and quality guidelines. Compliance with infection control protocols and proper reporting procedures is essential.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality while completing cleaning assignments according to schedule. Respond promptly to paging systems.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by following instructions and maintaining courteous, cooperative relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

  • Exhibit a positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions while performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • After appropriate training, demonstrate leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities independently and safely.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Dependability concerning scheduled work hours is essential.
  • Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as mandated by state, local, and customer requirements.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods is required.
