Position Summary

  • Housekeeping: Execute cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning patient room furniture, ensuring an orderly and hygienic environment. Dispose of trash and perform additional related tasks as assigned.
  • Safety Compliance: Utilize protective gear appropriately, mix and use cleaning solutions safely, report any equipment needs to supervisors, and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance, complete cleaning assignments on schedule, and respond promptly to pagers.
  • Customer and Resident Experience: Uphold HCSG’s positive image by practicing courtesy and cooperation with supervisors, co-workers, and resident staff, fostering pleasant interactions.

Qualifications

  • A positive attitude and the ability to follow instructions, performing routine tasks consistently.
  • After completing necessary training, exhibit leadership skills to accomplish tasks independently and safely.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must adhere to attendance and punctuality requirements.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull the same weight, and perform tasks requiring extended periods of standing, sitting, bending, and walking.
  • Must be able to work in proximity to food and cleaning products.
