Position Summary

• Housekeeping: Responsible for performing housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, maintaining patient room and common area cleanliness, and disposing of waste in designated areas.
• Safety: Utilize protective gear appropriately and ensure the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions, adhering to all safety protocols. Report any equipment or cleaning product issues to a supervisor promptly, and maintain established safety and quality guidelines in all tasks. Follow infection control and universal precautions at all times.
• Punctuality: Consistently attend work and arrive on time, completing assigned cleaning areas according to a set schedule. Respond promptly and appropriately to the paging system.
• Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by following instructions and maintaining courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
• Resident Experience: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

• Exhibit a positive attitude with the capacity to follow oral and written instructions while performing routine tasks consistently.
• Upon completing all required training, demonstrate leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision while maintaining a safe working environment.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be reliable and punctual in attendance.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push or pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Capable of performing routine and repetitive tasks continuously without supervision.
• Must be comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
• Must reside within the service area.
