Position Summary
- Housekeeping: Responsibilities include performing housekeeping and cleaning tasks such as dusting, damp mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms, patient rooms, and communal areas. You will also be responsible for trash removal and other related duties as assigned.
- Safety: Utilize required protective gear; properly mix and use cleaning solutions while adhering to safety protocols. Report equipment and product needs to supervisors promptly.
- Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and timely completion of cleaning tasks according to the schedule. Respond promptly to paging systems.
- Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively through courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
- Resident Experience: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- A positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions while performing routine tasks.
- Leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities autonomously after completing appropriate training, ensuring safety for oneself and others.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to arrive at work as scheduled and on time.
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
- Physical ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds, while standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Capability to perform routine tasks consistently and work around food and cleaning products.
- Residency in the service area is required.
