EWI is seeking a Senior Digital Project Manager to oversee the daily operations of technology-driven projects, ensuring exceptional delivery and execution. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient professional with a charismatic presence, capable of leading a talented team of technical, creative, and strategic experts.
The successful candidate will have a proven history of delivering complex digital projects in high-pressure environments, encompassing experiential physical-interactive installations—both temporary and permanent—mobile and tablet applications, integrated marketing campaigns, and robust social media initiatives. As a leader, collaborator, and mentor, you will inspire your team through effective problem-solving and a positive mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOW), conduct service provider reviews, and secure approvals from both the internal review board and clients.
- Scope, plan, and manage multiple interactive projects from inception to completion.
- Create project work breakdown structures (WBS), resource plans (Gantt charts), and manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Strategically acquire qualified project resources to fulfill assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with account management, creative, strategy, engineering, and production teams to guarantee quality and timely deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of all legal documentation pertinent to clients and partners (e.g., Non-disclosure Agreements, Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, Change Order Requests), ensuring compliance with internal documentation processes for approval by the Director of Digital Production or the EWI Account team prior to delivery to clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, managing all communications and expectations among teams, stakeholders, vendors, and clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Track and report on project progress and status to senior management.
- Partner with the technical team to identify and implement innovative technology solutions.
- Drive continuous process improvement and innovation in team management to enhance solution delivery.
- Document business and technical requirements in collaboration with engineering and creative teams while working alongside our Technical Director.
- Negotiate, define, communicate, and oversee the change control process.
- Provide regular updates on quantifiable project status (actuals and forecasts).
- Monitor project and account budgets, collaborating with the finance team for revenue forecasting and managing the purchase order and invoicing processes.
- Ensure project completion adheres to established schedules and budgets.
- Work alongside EWI account, strategy, and business development teams to formulate and execute an account plan that addresses client objectives and identifies new revenue opportunities.
- Conduct post-launch evaluations against established success criteria to assess project performance and document lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in digital production/development and project management.
- Proven ability to motivate teams, lead by example, and foster a collaborative environment.
- Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML/HTML5, CSS, CMS, and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project (OmniPlan, Smart Sheets), Google suite, and other team communication platforms (Slack, MS Teams, Basecamp).
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- 5-7 years of experience managing the delivery of digital projects, demonstrating a keen interest in innovations applicable to digital experiences.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risks, and develop comprehensive work plans and specifications.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.
- Comfort in client-facing roles, with previous interactive agency experience preferred.
- Strong team-building, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, including personnel ranging from junior to senior levels.
