Accountable for the overall success of daily kitchen operations, this role requires a hands-on leader who exemplifies culinary skills while directing staff and managing all food-related functions. The ideal candidate will work to enhance both guest and employee satisfaction while adhering to budget constraints. The position involves supervising all kitchen areas to ensure the consistent production of high-quality products and guiding the professional development of the culinary team, including direct reports. Candidate Profile
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED with a minimum of four years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or a related professional area; or
- A two-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related discipline, accompanied by two years of experience in culinary, food, and beverage, or a related professional area.

- Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, including purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards.
- Prepare and cook food regularly or for special events, ensuring that all quality standards are consistently met.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
- Provide exemplary service that exceeds customer expectations, contributing to client satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the alignment of quality standards with guest needs.
- Improve service through effective communication and by coaching staff.
- Monitor service behaviors and provide constructive feedback to enhance employee performance.

The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $71,000 annually.
