Job Title: Server – Afternoon Shift

Company: Life Care Services

Location: Novi, MI

Pay: $16 – 17 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 – $17 for a “Server – Afternoon Shift” position in Novi, MI, falls within the typical range for restaurant servers, particularly in suburban areas. According to industry standards, servers often earn lower base wages due to the reliance on tips, which can significantly supplement their income. In Michigan, the minimum wage for tipped employees is lower than the standard minimum wage, making this rate somewhat competitive, especially for afternoon shifts that may not attract the same volume of customers as evening shifts. Overall, while it might not be the highest pay in the industry, it is fairly aligned with local rates and could be considered competitive depending on the establishment and overall job benefits offered.
