Job Description
Job Title: Server Assistant – Big E’s Sports Grill Holland
Company: Suburban Inns
Location: Holland, MI
Pay: $12.48 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $12.48 for a Server Assistant at Big E’s Sports Grill in Holland, MI, is slightly below the average wage for similar positions in the hospitality industry, particularly in the Midwest region. As of late 2023, Server Assistants typically earn between $13 and $15 per hour, depending on experience and location, with some establishments offering tips which can significantly increase overall earnings. Given that Holland is not a major metropolitan area, the cost of living is relatively lower, but the rate may still be considered less competitive, especially when factoring in the rising wages in the service sector driven by labor shortages. Therefore, while it could be acceptable for entry-level positions, it may need adjustment to attract and retain more experienced staff in this tight labor market.
