Job Title: Server Assistant | brick + brine | PT

Company: Greenleaf Hospitality Group

Location: Kalamazoo, MI

Pay: $14 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14 for a “Server Assistant” position at brick + brine in Kalamazoo, MI, is generally considered below the competitive range for the role, particularly in the context of the region’s cost of living and service industry standards. According to recent data, server assistants in Michigan typically earn between $15 and $20 per hour, with higher wages in urban areas or establishments that focus on higher-end dining experiences. While $14 might be considered acceptable for entry-level positions, it may not attract candidates with more experience or those looking for competitive compensation in the hospitality industry, particularly as many employers have started offering higher wages and additional benefits to draw in staff post-pandemic.
