Job Title: Server (Bar)

Company: Kewadin Casinos

Location: Manistique, MI

Pay: $9.64 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $9.64 for a “Server (Bar)” position in Manistique, MI, is considered below the typical industry standards, particularly for food service roles. As of 2023, server wages in Michigan generally range from around $11 to $15 per hour, not including tips, which are a significant part of a server’s earnings. Moreover, the minimum wage in Michigan is higher than this rate, and servers typically earn a base pay that reflects the state’s tipped employee laws, which may allow for a lower base pay when tips are factored in. Therefore, the offered rate could be seen as uncompetitive and may struggle to attract candidates unless supplemented by substantial tips or other benefits.
