AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for the “Server – Full Service Restaurant – Evening Shift” role in Lansing, MI, we need to consider the average pay ranges for servers in full-service restaurants, which typically fall between $10 and $15 per hour, excluding tips. Given that Lansing is in the Midwest, server wages may also reflect local cost of living and demand for hospitality staff. If the offered rate is within this range or slightly above, it can be considered competitive; if it is significantly lower, it may not attract qualified candidates, especially given the importance of evening shifts when customer traffic is typically higher. Additionally, it’s essential to consider any benefits or tips that may contribute to total compensation, as these are significant for server roles. Overall, if the rate aligns with or exceeds the regional standards and compensation practices, it would be deemed competitive.
