Pay: $7 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist patrons in selecting food and beverages by presenting the menu, recommending cocktails and appetizers, suggesting courses, explaining chef specialties, identifying suitable wines, and accommodating special dietary needs or requests.
  • Accurately transmit orders to the kitchen and bar by recording patrons’ selections and special requests.
  • Keep kitchen staff informed about the timing of meal progression.
  • Deliver orders to patrons, ensuring all accompaniments and condiments are included as requested.
  • Be attentive to patrons’ needs by checking in and observing the dining experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized table setting by removing completed courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses, while also addressing any spills or special requests.
  • Process payments accurately by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, and returning change or receipts to patrons.
  • Ensure the safety and sanitation of the establishment and patrons by adhering to relevant policies and regulations.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

  • Some high school education or equivalent experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills, specifically in cash handling (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Flexibility in scheduling based on business needs, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
