AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the competitiveness of the hourly rate for a “Service & Assembly Technician” in Flint, MI, it’s crucial to consider both local and national industry standards. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for service technicians in the manufacturing and assembly sectors typically ranges from $15 to $25, depending on experience, specific skills, and demand in the area. If the hourly rate being offered falls within or above this range, it can be considered competitive, particularly if it includes additional benefits or opportunities for overtime. However, if it is below this range, it may not attract skilled workers, given the cost of living in the region and the overall demand for technical roles. Therefore, for an accurate assessment, the specific hourly rate needs to be evaluated against these factors and local job market conditions.
