As a Service Desk Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring an uninterrupted technology experience for employees throughout the organization. By skillfully managing the ticket queue, troubleshooting essential systems, and addressing end-user needs, you will help minimize downtime and boost productivity. Your proactive support will foster a secure and optimized IT environment, enabling teams to concentrate on their core business activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritize incoming requests through the ticketing system, ensuring prompt responses and resolutions.
  • Execute basic Active Directory tasks, including password changes, account updates, assigning users to appropriate organizational units (OUs), and managing group memberships.
  • Oversee security badge management using access control platforms, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
  • Provide fundamental troubleshooting for phone systems to facilitate effective communication.
  • Address and resolve basic issues related to communication platforms for end users.
  • Troubleshoot conference room equipment and deliver end-user training to ensure seamless meeting experiences.
  • Assist with VPN troubleshooting and handle the installation/setup of VPN software for users as required.
  • Undertake additional job responsibilities as assigned.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Education: An associate degree in information systems or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient in using ticketing systems, preferably Freshservice.
  • Familiar with Active Directory management, including password resets and account updates.
  • Knowledgeable in security access systems, such as EntraPass Web.
  • Possess basic troubleshooting skills for phone systems and email security tools like Mimecast.
  • Capable of providing user support and training for conference room equipment.
  • Understanding of VPN software installation and troubleshooting, particularly Global Protect.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
