Job Description
Job Title: SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay: $18 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $18 for a Shift Supervisor position in Detroit, MI, is somewhat below the national average for similar roles. As of 2023, typical hourly wages for shift supervisors, particularly in the retail, food service, and manufacturing sectors, range between $20 to $25 per hour, depending on the specific industry, responsibilities, and the supervisor’s experience. In Detroit, the cost of living may influence compensation, but an $18 hourly rate may be considered low, especially given rising wages and labor shortages in many sectors. Thus, while competitive for entry-level or part-time roles, this pay may not attract experienced candidates looking for full-time positions or seeking to advance in their careers.
