Job description:
We are actively seeking to fill a full-time Shift Supervisor position. The role is located at Ascension Health Allegan, 555 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

As the Shift Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include directing the activities of associates during your shift and ensuring adherence to assigned job expectations as well as company policies and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
– Provide training and create work schedules for associates.
– Evaluate employee performance, reward high achievers, and address performance issues as needed.
– Prepare production or sales reports for management, ensuring that unit expectations regarding quality, productivity, and safety are met.
– Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding complaints or requests for time off.
– Mentor and develop employees, encouraging personal and professional goal-setting and career advancement within the organization.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.
