Job description:

The Shipping Lead plays a crucial role in supervising the daily operations of our dynamic fulfillment department, ensuring that we meet the demands of our customers and clients efficiently. This position requires staying current with small carrier changes, regulations, and customer expectations. Key responsibilities include picking, packaging, maintaining inventory traceability, and overseeing the opening and closing of the floor each day. The scheduled shift is from Friday to Sunday, 6:45 AM to 7:30 PM, allowing for a three-day workweek with the opportunity to earn an additional four hours of pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize software applications to track, prioritize, check, and route orders effectively.
  • Conduct inspections of labels, barcodes, and other elements of completed orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate any issues related to shipped orders and resolve them promptly.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of all relevant information.
  • Ensure that shipments are loaded in a timely and precise manner.
  • Adhere to and uphold safety, security, quality, housekeeping, and sanitation standards as appropriate.
  • Assist in enforcing compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, workplace policies, and health and safety regulations.
  • Serve as a resource for operations-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to associates.
  • Manage the opening and closing of the floor as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
