Job description:
Resort Lifestyle Communities is currently seeking applications for the position of Sous Chef. In this role, you will deliver resort-style cuisine and exceptional hospitality while fostering strong, positive relationships with our residents and guests. The Sous Chef will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef, Community Managers, and other Culinary and Dining team members.
Schedule, Benefits, and Compensation:
- You will work lunch and dinner shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, with the evening meal concluding by 6:30 PM, ensuring no late-night hours.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Safely and efficiently prepare a variety of foods, including meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and eggs, in a scratch-based kitchen, while maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation.
- Execute a diverse menu with various cooking techniques, ensuring an attractive, resort-style presentation for all dishes.
- Gain hands-on experience alongside our Executive Chef and provide leadership support in their absence.
- Monitor and replenish the Chef’s Pantry, and accurately log temperatures.

Qualifications:
- Previous leadership experience in culinary preparation and cooking is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; a culinary degree or higher education is preferred.
- Basic computer skills are required; data entry experience is a plus.
- Ability to secure necessary food handler permits as mandated by local regulations within two weeks of employment commencement.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
