General Function:
The Sports Aide will assist in the preparation, implementation, and event management of youth and adult sports programming.
Education/Experience/Training/Certifications:
- Experience working with children in a supervised setting is preferred, though not required.
- Basic knowledge of sports is preferred, but not mandatory.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Aid in the planning and execution of sports activities.
- Ensure smooth operation of all sports programs by providing assistance as needed, which may include coaching, refereeing, running the score clock, and leading sport sampling or other classes.
- Maintain quality and inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Assist in the proper storage of program equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Abilities & Skills:
- Ability to maneuver equipment; must possess the physical capability to lift, carry, push, or pull as necessary.
