We are currently seeking candidates for various positions at the Farmington Family YMCA.

General Function:
The Sports Aide will assist in the preparation, implementation, and event management of youth and adult sports programming.

Education/Experience/Training/Certifications:

  • Experience working with children in a supervised setting is preferred, though not required.
  • Basic knowledge of sports is preferred, but not mandatory.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the planning and execution of sports activities.
  • Ensure smooth operation of all sports programs by providing assistance as needed, which may include coaching, refereeing, running the score clock, and leading sport sampling or other classes.
  • Maintain quality and inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials.
  • Assist in the proper storage of program equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Abilities & Skills:

  • Ability to maneuver equipment; must possess the physical capability to lift, carry, push, or pull as necessary.
