General Function:
The Sports Aide will play a vital role in supporting the preparation, implementation, and management of youth and adult sports programming.
Education/Experience/Training/Certifications:
- Prior experience working with children in a supervised setting is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of sports is advantageous but not mandatory.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of sports activities.
- Ensure the smooth operation of sports programs by providing support as needed, which may include coaching, refereeing, managing the score clock, and conducting sport samplings or other classes.
- Maintain the quality and inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Aid in the proper storage of program equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Abilities & Skills:
- Capable of moving equipment; must possess the strength to lift, carry, push, or pull as necessary.
