The Opportunity:

Job Summary: The Senior Analyst for Technology Disaster Recovery is tasked with implementing and supporting the strategies, procedures, and programs that safeguard the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of an unexpected disruption or disaster. This role encompasses conducting risk management analyses, documenting disaster recovery plans, and procuring the necessary off-site resources essential for the organization’s resumption strategy. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will develop and execute testing methodologies to validate the disaster recovery plans and pinpoint areas of improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct risk management analyses and document disaster recovery plans.
  • Identify and secure requisite off-site resources to support the organization’s resumption strategy.
  • Develop and implement testing processes to verify disaster recovery plans.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and failure points in disaster recovery strategies and recommend enhancements.
  • Ensure that all action plans are thoroughly documented, communicated, and clearly understood by all relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the alignment and integration of disaster recovery strategies.
  • Provide training and support to staff on disaster recovery protocols and procedures.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in disaster recovery and business continuity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, or a related discipline.
  • Comprehensive understanding of disaster recovery principles and practices.
