Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Coordinator
Company: Michigan Technological University
Location: Houghton, MI
Pay: $42000 per year
AI Pay Analysis: The annual salary of $42,000 for a “Sr. Coordinator” role in Houghton, MI translates to an hourly rate of approximately $20.19 per hour (based on a standard 40-hour workweek). This compensation appears to be on the lower end for similar positions in broader industries, which often range from $25 to $35 per hour depending on the specific field, regional cost of living, and required experience. In Houghton, which has a lower cost of living compared to larger metropolitan areas, this rate might be more competitive; however, it may not fully reflect the skill level and responsibilities typically associated with a senior coordinator role. Therefore, while it may be reasonable for entry-level or less demanding coordinator positions, it may be viewed as underwhelming for a senior title.
