Job description:

As a Senior Brand Manager at WK Kellogg Co, you will serve as the brand leader for some of our most iconic cereal brands, including Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, and Krave. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and agency partners to develop insightful brand strategies and robust commercial plans aimed at driving growth for the core business. We seek a candidate who possesses strong analytical skills, a profound understanding of consumer insights, and a passion for creativity, all of which are essential for crafting marketing programs that foster brand recognition, loyalty, and ultimately, growth.

This is a hybrid position, necessitating your commutability within 61 to 200 miles of our headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan. The expectation is to be in the office for one consecutive Tuesday or Wednesday each month, with affiliated commuting expenses reimbursed. Some travel (up to 10%) may also be required.

Working Relationships:

  • Internally, you will collaborate closely with the directors of brand marketing and other members of the Brand Marketing team. Additionally, you will engage with cross-functional partners across sales, innovation, supply chain, finance, media operations, and legal departments.
  • You will supervise one Senior Associate Brand Manager.
  • You will cultivate strong relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, and other marketing vendors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing a comprehensive brand strategy for your portfolio that aligns with the overall strategy of WK Kellogg Co.
  • Overseeing brand positioning, visual identity, media plans, and creative development to drive market share growth.
  • Leading the planning, execution, and performance evaluation of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social, CTV, OLV, and other platforms.
  • Partnering with agencies and internal stakeholders to create compelling brand content and activation plans.
  • Collaborating with sales and commercial partners to ensure strong execution and measurable market impact.
  • Managing P&L, budget allocations, and performance metrics to enhance brand growth and operational efficiency.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; an MBA or a Master’s degree in marketing, business management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in brand marketing is essential.
  • Proficiency in analyzing market sales performance drivers using Circana or Nielsen data.
  • A proven record of developing and executing strategic brand plans, particularly in collaboration with agencies.
  • Self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and collaborate with teams in a creative environment.
  • An aptitude for influencing and engaging with executive-level leaders through both formal and informal communications and presentations.

Compensation Insights:
The salary range for this position is $139,400.00 – $183,015.00. Salary offers are determined based on role and level, with starting base pay influenced by job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
