We are seeking a dedicated team member who will ensure that our service standards are not only met but exceeded by delivering prompt and high-quality coffee selection, purchasing, and preparation. This role involves monitoring the overall conditions of the department and implementing necessary actions to maintain our high standards. Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth through effective marketing and merchandising of products within the department.
  • Assist in supervising and guiding department personnel to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to associates in accordance with duty rosters.
  • Order and maintain stock and supplies, while consistently monitoring their condition and presentation throughout the department.
  • Oversee product expiration dates and ensure proper rotation by removing expired items.
  • Hold department personnel accountable for their assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Create department schedules, balancing requests and operational needs.
  • Provide assistance to customers in selecting and purchasing specialty coffee beverages and whole bean products (when applicable).
  • Maintain a clean and inviting customer service area and ensure equipment is well-kept.
  • Demonstrate a Customer 1st mentality in addressing customer needs.
  • Prepare a variety of customer beverage orders, including espresso drinks and the Coffee of the Day.
  • Adhere strictly to all Starbucks programs, policies, and promotions (e.g., Customer Voice, Siren’s Eye).
  • Follow store policies and procedures for operational flow at each station.
  • Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with established cleaning standards and collaborate effectively with the store team.
  • Present yourself professionally and maintain clear communication during all customer and partner interactions.
  • Conduct equipment maintenance in line with the preventative maintenance checklist.
  • Follow cash handling and register policies.
  • Adhere to inventory stocking and recording guidelines.
