Job description:
Ensure that service standards are consistently met and exceeded by delivering prompt and high-quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation to customers. Monitor overall departmental conditions and take necessary actions to uphold standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities:
– Drive sales through effective marketing and merchandising strategies for products within the department.
– Assist in supervising and guiding department personnel to deliver outstanding customer service.
– Delegate tasks and responsibilities to associates according to duty rosters.
– Order and maintain stock and supplies while monitoring their conditions and appearances throughout the department.
– Oversee product code dates and rotation, ensuring timely removal of outdated products.
– Hold departmental personnel accountable for their assigned roles and responsibilities.
– Develop and manage department schedules while accommodating requests and aligning with business needs.
– Support customers in selecting and purchasing specialty coffee beverages and whole bean products as applicable.
– Maintain a clean and inviting customer service area and equipment.
– Demonstrate a Customer 1st attitude in addressing customer needs.
– Prepare a diverse range of customer beverage orders, including espresso drinks and Coffee of the Day.

– Follow store policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency at each station.
– Perform cleaning tasks in compliance with established standards, collaborating effectively as a member of the store team.
– Represent oneself professionally while maintaining clear communication with customers and partners.
– Conduct equipment maintenance following the preventative maintenance checklist.
– Adhere to cash handling and register policies diligently.
– Follow inventory stocking and recording protocols.
– Communicate effectively with both customers and associates.
