Job description:
A Laundry Attendant is primarily responsible for ensuring a consistent supply of clean linens for the hotel, adhering to the Veridea Group standards, while delivering exceptional guest satisfaction through friendly and courteous service.

Essential Functions:
1. Provide sincere and courteous assistance to all guests, going above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction whenever possible.
2. Efficiently clean, fold, and distribute bed and bath linens, including:
a. Sorting all linens.
b. Loading and unloading laundry machines.
c. Properly treating soiled linens.
d. Reporting any unusual circumstances to the supervisor.
e. Promptly addressing maintenance requests.
f. Logging any found items in the Lost & Found Logbook.
3. Maintain a clean and organized laundry room to enhance operational efficiency.
4. Organize laundry storage areas to preserve the quality of contents and optimize job performance, including:
a. Checking stock levels to ensure sufficiency for daily operations.
b. Restocking storage areas and carts.
c. Identifying and returning damaged linens for reprocessing.
5. Secure linen closets, chutes, and trash areas to uphold safety and security standards at all times.
6. Demonstrate innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
7. Acknowledge that scheduled shifts have a designated start time, with end times determined by the supervisor based on workload.
8. Develop a thorough understanding of the property and its facilities to effectively address guest inquiries.
9. Comprehend and implement all hotel safety and security protocols to maintain a secure environment for both employees and guests.
10. Keep the operations manager promptly informed of any issues or significant occurrences for timely corrective action.
11. Execute additional duties as requested or required.
