Job description:
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the store’s e-Commerce department to achieve established sales objectives, goals, and budgets. You will be responsible for staffing the department and developing associates to attain desired results while embodying the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the e-Commerce department consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations regarding ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Conduct interviews, select, and hire candidates to appropriately staff the online shopping department.
- Meet product flow demands and create schedules in accordance with established guidelines.
- Develop associates to achieve productivity standards and certify them once they meet or exceed goals.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws, alongside all food safety procedures and company policies.
- Train associates on all functions and responsibilities related to the order selector and customer attendant roles.
- Lead the team in planning, implementation, and execution of e-Commerce initiatives.
- Achieve or surpass weekly, monthly, annual sales, wage budgets, and other targets, including customer satisfaction metrics that secure repeat business.
- Assist in analyzing and responding to the competitive landscape.
- Ensure timely and effective fulfillment of orders with requested products or suitable substitutes.
- Implement best practices for determining appropriate substitutions in the event of out-of-stock items.
- Streamline processes for order collection, product handling, checkouts, and delivery.
- Report inventory issues, such as out-of-stock items, to department heads promptly.
- Troubleshoot equipment and devices used within the e-Commerce department.
- Provide constructive feedback to the store management team, district manager, field specialists, coordinators, and division e-Commerce manager regarding the effectiveness of operational plans and programs.
- Report any issues related to item shelf allocation to the division KOMPASS team.
- Monitor and manage departmental expenses.
- Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment within the department.
- Supervise and coach direct reports in their duties, conduct performance reviews, and deliver feedback.

Qualifications: Minimum
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in the selection and hiring process.
- Proven supervisory experience.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several times throughout the day.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Capability to stoop, kneel, or crouch multiple times per hour.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk continuously.
