Graceworks Lutheran Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving over 2,000 older adults and individuals with disabilities. Our expansive 100-acre property, located in the heart of Centerville, OH, boasts well-appointed living accommodations amid beautifully landscaped grounds.

This is a PRN (as needed) position for the evening shift, with hours from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM or 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Flexibility for weekend and occasional Friday shifts is required, though we are committed to accommodating school and extracurricular schedules.

Compensation for this role is $11.00 per hour.

Position Summary:
The successful candidate will provide residents with efficient, courteous, and professional service while ensuring a clean and sanitary environment in the dining and service areas. A fundamental principle of this role is to treat residents, guests, and coworkers with dignity and respect.

Job Duties:
– Accurately portion breakfast items, salads, desserts, milk, bread, margarine, juices, special nourishment, and other food items according to the menu breakdown and individual diet cards.
– Assemble approximately 200 patient trays for each meal period efficiently and accurately within designated timeframes.
– Serve residents in the dining room with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
– Attend to all residents, guests, and authorized diners as directed by the team leader.
– Clean all equipment, fixtures, floors, and walls in the assembly and service areas at the end of each shift, as well as during shifts as required. This includes maintaining cleanliness of carts and sweeping/mopping floors as necessary.
