Job Title: (Student) Residence Life Assistant

Company: Davenport University

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $8.9 – 10 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $8.90 to $10 for a (Student) Residence Life Assistant in Grand Rapids, MI, is generally below the competitive standard for similar roles in student support and campus services, particularly in light of increasing wage standards driven by inflation and the rising cost of living. Typically, such positions at universities or colleges might offer rates between $10 to $15 per hour, often reflecting both the responsibilities involved and the demand for part-time work suitable for students. Additionally, many institutions are now aligning their pay scales closer to minimum wage, which has been increasing across various states. Therefore, while this rate may appeal to students seeking flexible work, it may not attract those looking for fair compensation or whom might have access to higher-paying opportunities elsewhere.
