Job Title: Student Worker – Admissions

Company: Mid Michigan College

Location: Harrison, MI

Pay: $10.33 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $10.33 for a “Student Worker – Admissions” role in Harrison, MI, is relatively modest and may be considered below competitive standards. As of 2023, typical wages for student workers in similar positions often range from $12 to $15 per hour, depending on factors such as the institution, specific responsibilities, and local living costs. In Michigan, especially, the state’s minimum wage and the rising costs of living suggest that higher pay might be expected for such roles to attract suitable candidates. Therefore, while this rate may be acceptable for entry-level student work, it may not effectively align with industry standards or the financial needs of students in the area.
