Job Title: Student Worker – Admissions

Company: Mid Michigan College

Location: Mount Pleasant, MI

Pay: $10.33 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $10.33 for a “Student Worker – Admissions” role in Mount Pleasant, MI, is generally considered low compared to typical wages for similar positions in the region and across the industry. As of 2023, many student worker positions, especially in customer service and administrative roles, tend to offer rates ranging from $12 to $15 per hour, influenced by local cost of living and the demand for student labor. While Michigan’s minimum wage is $10.10, which aligns with the offered pay, this rate may not be competitive for attracting talented students, especially given rising inflation and living costs. Thus, to remain competitive and appealing to potential candidates, the hiring institution might consider increasing the wage.
