Primary Responsibilities:
– Deliver swim instruction according to the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
– Enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents.
– Assess students’ progress and complete required documentation promptly.
– Engage with parents and guardians regarding their children’s swimming skills and development.
– Serve as a Goldfish Swim School “ambassador,” ensuring high levels of parental satisfaction.
– Utilize problem-solving and creative thinking skills to address and overcome challenges faced by students.
– Inspect pool areas before and after each class for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues, and report findings to management as necessary.
– Maintain and correctly store all pool equipment, including setting up and taking down lane lines.
– Report any accidents or incidents to management and complete necessary documentation.
– Perform light cleaning duties, such as washing windows, mopping the deck, and removing trash, as needed.
– Attend mandatory workshops and in-service training sessions outside of regular working hours.
