Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing KinderCare’s curriculum in alignment with the unique needs of each child.
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters both play and learning.
- Collaborating with parents to ensure the best possible care and education for their children.
- Supporting the success of your center by partnering with staff and leadership to meet goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
- Cultivating positive relationships with families, fellow educators, state licensing authorities, community partners, and corporate collaborators.
Qualifications:
- Exemplary customer service skills, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and scenarios effectively.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification or a willingness to obtain such certifications.
- Compliance with state-specific qualifications for the role or a willingness to obtain them.
- An active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or a commitment to obtain it.
- Physical capability to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Ability to engage in low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, effectively ensuring their safety while actively participating in physical activities.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English to facilitate communication with children and their parents.
