As a Team Member, you will support customer service, stocking, and sanitation tasks within your assigned department(s). All roles require the commitment to uphold a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and fellow Team Members at all times. Responsibilities

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Perform designated opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Adhere to department protocols for product preparation, storage, rotation, and stocking.
• Prepare, package, weigh, and price products effectively for sale.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring proper rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cases and shelves.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep logs as dictated.
• Assist with periodic inventory audits.
• Arrive at your workstation punctually, properly groomed and dressed, ready to perform; work all scheduled shifts and participate in mandatory training and meetings.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs in a timely manner while employing suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Enhance sales performance through effective and proper product preparation, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow established procedures ensuring compliance with Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; uphold equipment standards in accordance with Whole Foods Market cleanliness and safety protocols.
• Verify the accuracy of signage and pricing.
• Promptly report safety hazards and violations.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour workday, standing and walking will be required for 6-8 hours.
• Hand use will involve single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Work activities include bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.

• Capability to work in wet and/or cold environments.

New entry-level Team Members who successfully complete their first 90 days of employment and remain actively employed in an eligible role may qualify for a base rate increase following their 90-day anniversary.
