Role Summary:
As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for our members by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.
  • Manage all front desk activities, which include:
    • Answering phones in a friendly manner, checking in members, facilitating new member sign-ups, and conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating member accounts as needed.
    • Addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when necessary.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • A strong passion for fitness and health.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues to exceed expectations.
  • Strong listening skills paired with the capacity to empathize and problem solve.
