Role Summary
As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering a positive experience for our members by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests with exceptional customer service.
  • Manage all front desk activities, including:
    • Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with a variety of inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Signing up new members.
    • Guiding prospective members on tours.
  • Facilitate necessary updates to member accounts.
  • Address member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as appropriate.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • A strong passion for fitness and health is essential.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude is a must.
  • Punctuality and reliability are critical.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding member expectations.
  • Strong listening skills combined with the ability to empathize and solve problems effectively.
  • Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, utilizing appropriate behavior and language.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
