Role Summary
The Team Member will play a key role in fostering a positive experience for our members by delivering an exceptional level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, potential members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.
- Manage all front desk-related activities, including:
- Answering phones in a friendly manner, checking members in, processing new member sign-ups, and conducting tours for prospective members.
- Facilitating necessary updates to member accounts.
- Responding to member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when necessary.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the club’s cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer usage.
- A strong passion for fitness and health.
- An upbeat and positive attitude is essential.
- Punctuality and reliability are mandatory.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding member expectations.
- Strong listening skills, with the capacity to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
