NBCUniversal’s Advertising Platforms & Operations team is dedicated to the product development, project management, and daily operations of NBCUniversal’s comprehensive advertising technology suite, supporting a robust annual advertising business valued at $8 billion that caters to both internal and external customers.
The Programmatic Ad Operations team within Business Operations & Services is a dynamic and close-knit group focused on executing all programmatic guaranteed and private marketplace deals, both domestically and globally. The Programmatic Sales Operations Campaign Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of programmatic deals, including deal creation, revisions, and maintaining compliance with digital asset specifications throughout the campaign duration.
This role involves working collaboratively with the planning and sales teams to ensure seamless advertising campaign execution that surpasses client expectations. We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient problem solver with exceptional customer service skills and leadership potential to enhance our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify technical issues affecting bids for both guaranteed and non-guaranteed deals, collaborating with relevant cross-functional teams to deliver swift resolutions.
- Lead live troubleshooting discussions with clients, alongside the Campaign Manager counterpart.
- Participate in weekly POD meetings to ensure alignment among sales, planning, and operations teams.
- Establish regular reporting mechanisms to identify trends in creative failures across various ad distributors and DSPs.
- Continuously expand knowledge within the programmatic ecosystem to better support internal and external partners.
- Engage directly with the Programmatic Sales Team and clients to ensure successful campaign fulfillment.
- Exhibit advanced knowledge of programmatic deal setup within various SSPs, such as FreeWheel and Google Ad Manager.
- Manage the Sports Programmatic business, providing support during live sports events, including weekends.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Manage multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize responsibilities.
- Maintain organization and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years in Digital Sales Operations.
- Familiarity with the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- A commitment to working within the entertainment media industry, with availability during weekends for live events.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in trafficking within DSP and/or SSP.
- Interest in the nuances of DSP a plus.
- Proficient in digital media terminology, including impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with effective task prioritization.
- Detail-oriented, with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
