Role Summary
As a Team Member, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive experience for our members by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Manage all front desk operations, including:
    • Answering phones in a friendly manner, checking in members, processing new member sign-ups, and conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating member accounts as necessary.
    • Addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager when appropriate.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications.
  • A passion for fitness and health.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, enabling positive interactions with members and co-workers while exceeding their expectations.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and solve problems effectively.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
