Job description:
The Ticket Desk Attendant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service within the Ski Department at Pine Mountain Ski & Golf Resort. This position involves engaging with guests both in person and over the phone to assist with inquiries related to winter activities, including the issuing of season passes and the sale of special programs. The Attendant will ensure accurate balance of the cash drawer and contribute to the Cashier’s Office as needed by handling lift ticket and rental sales.
Key responsibilities include greeting guests and members with professionalism, understanding and addressing their needs, and adhering strictly to policies when processing ski-related transactions. The Attendant will also be responsible for managing communication effectively and responding to queries in a timely manner while meticulously ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions. Additionally, this role requires flexibility, with the expectation to take on assigned duties as necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess prior customer service experience, demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt, and maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout their duties. Availability for irregular working hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential. The role also requires physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs and ladders.
