Job Responsibilities:
– Process and re-assign titles for vehicles sold at auction.
– Examine vehicle titles for accuracy and compliance with specified requirements, ensuring validation of acceptance in the relevant state. Confirm correct VIN numbers, odometer readings, release of liens, and that titles show no alterations.
– Assess title documents for negotiability and potential fraud while reporting any discrepancies.
– Collaborate with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies to resolve title issues, and assist management in negotiating price adjustments between buyers and sellers as needed.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current DMV laws and regulations regarding vehicle titles, interpreting titling regulations for each applicable state.
– Professionally manage incoming telephone calls, routing them to the appropriate personnel or department as necessary.
– Generate outstanding title reports, reviewing and contacting sellers regarding any outstanding titles.
– Perform additional duties such as processing sale day transactions utilizing the AS400 system and providing exemplary customer service.
– Verify purchases in-lane using the DVR system.
– Access and update client information from Auction Access.
– Assist with sale day settlement balancing.
– Ensure front counter coverage is maintained.
– Consistently demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction, exemplifying the behaviors representative of Cox culture.
– Be prepared to work overtime (beyond 40 hours per week) as dictated by business needs.
– Execute other duties as assigned by management.
– Travel and/or work overtime may be required based on business demands.
Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
– Generally, less than 2 years of relevant experience in the auction/automotive industry or at the DMV is necessary.
– A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are mandatory.
– Strong communication skills are required.
– Possess effective problem-solving and organizational abilities.
– Basic computer and software proficiency is essential.

Benefits:
