Overview:

Working shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

The Supply Chain Product Availability Supervisor plays a critical role in the success of PepsiCo by overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations. This position focuses on achieving cost efficiency, continuous process improvement, service excellence, and safety within an entire business unit across a single shift. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the receiving, shipping, and material handling functions in the warehouse while providing essential support to front-line staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the timely receiving and delivery of raw materials and finished products.
  • Optimize docking, warehouse layout, and truck loading patterns to minimize loading time.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of finished goods to meet daily sales requirements.
  • Deliver prompt service to the sales department while minimizing warehouse and production costs.
  • Develop the team to effectively address daily operational challenges and achieve both short- and long-term performance objectives.
  • Lead change initiatives while ensuring minimal impact on personnel.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to assist teams in resolving operational issues.
  • Enhance team capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication with front-line hourly personnel.
  • Motivate team members to meet performance targets.
  • Maintain the inventory system to support production scheduling.
  • Uphold all housekeeping and safety standards and training requirements.
  • Identify and implement productivity enhancements to support annual operating plans.
  • Administer relevant policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to regular and predictable attendance at the workplace.
  • Frequent presence on the plant floor is essential.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. may be required.
  • Work may be performed in adverse weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
  • Occasional operation of forklifts and manufacturing equipment may be needed.
  • Availability for off-shift and weekend work is expected.
  • Minimal travel (less than 5%) may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,000 – $100,500.

  • Performance-based bonuses are targeted at 8% of the annual salary, paid annually.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, ideally in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations is preferred.
  • Proven supervisory, planning, and organizational skills at the front-line level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, is preferred.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Competence in leading a team-based approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing others.
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills are essential.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
