Job description:
Provides exceptional customer service daily, exceeding standard customer expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures. Efficiently loads orders into delivery vehicles and checks deliveries for accuracy, ensuring effective routing. Accurately completes return forms and manages invoices, transfers, and all other necessary paperwork. Engages in various warehouse duties as needed when there are no pending deliveries.
Adheres strictly to safety regulations at all times and follows vehicle safety procedures consistently. Communicates relevant information to the manager promptly and addresses customer inquiries with politeness and professionalism, referring them to the manager when more information is required. Ensures timely and effective delivery of customer orders, while only making assigned deliveries.
Maintains communication by calling the manager from the customer’s location as necessary. Legibly initials all cash invoices while observing proper cash handling procedures and records essential information on all invoices. Conducts daily checks and routine maintenance on the vehicle, reporting any non-routine repairs or maintenance needs to the manager.
Performs daily vehicle cleanup and facility maintenance, including housekeeping responsibilities. Exhibits professionalism, courtesy, and a proactive demeanor with customers, vendors, and colleagues at all times. Accurately and efficiently follows both oral and written instructions, collaborates effectively with team members under time constraints, and consistently delivers quality work with strong attention to detail.
Complies with company policies and procedures and meets attendance and punctuality expectations. Demonstrates initiative by seeking out and preparing for training opportunities, both internally and externally. Reports to work punctually as scheduled and adheres to policy guidelines.
