Travel General Laborer (Nights)

We are expanding our overnight construction team at SPAR and are seeking dedicated and reliable full-time laborers. The position requires willingness to travel for extended periods and work from 9 PM to 6 AM. Candidates should possess a willingness to learn and familiarity with tools. Members of our traveling team will work inside home improvement retail chains, handling heavy steel and pallet racking.

What You’ll Do:
– Engage in physically demanding construction work
– Participate in overnight remodeling of large retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Transfer products from old to new pallet racking
– Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
– Engage in substantial physical activity, with the capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
– Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM
– Capability to follow directions regarding product tagging, rotation, and placement
– Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights of up to 20 feet as required
– Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs.
– Experience with basic hand and power tools (applicants must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Familiarity with essential tools necessary for the role
– Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
– Required personal cell phone and valid email address
– Professional appearance and demeanor
