Travel General Laborer Nights – $18 per hour
SPAR is expanding our overnight construction team and is seeking dedicated, reliable full-time laborers. This role requires willingness to travel for extended periods and work night shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM. Candidates should possess a strong desire to learn and have familiarity with using a toolbox. The traveling team will engage in projects within home improvement retail environments, focusing on the assembly and installation of heavy steel racking and pallet racking. A position on the Racking Team is a key step towards advancing to the Senior Lead position.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform physically demanding construction tasks
- Work overnight to remodel large retail spaces
- Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
- Transition products from old to new pallet racking systems
- Construct and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
- Update store signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
- Engage in considerable physical activity including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work night shifts (9 PM – 6 AM)
- Capability to follow instructions regarding product placement and shelf organization
- Comfort in climbing ladders and working at heights of up to 20 feet as necessary
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Experience with basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with essential tools required for job tasks
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Personal cell phone and valid email address are required
- Professional appearance and demeanor are expected
- Appropriate footwear must be worn on the job site
