Travel General Laborer Nights – $18 per hour
SPAR is expanding its overnight construction team and is seeking dedicated and dependable full-time laborers. Ideal candidates will be willing to travel for extended periods and work night shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM. A willingness to learn and familiarity with basic tools is essential. As part of our traveling team, you will contribute to projects within home improvement retail chains, focusing on the construction and installation of heavy steel and pallet racking systems.

What You Will Do:
– Engage in physically demanding construction work
– Perform overnight remodeling tasks in large retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Transfer products from old to new pallet racking systems
– Construct and assemble retail shelving fixtures
– Update signage and shelf conditions, ensuring schematic completion
– Engage in significant physical activity, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
– Capacity to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM
– Ability to follow directions regarding product tagging, rotation, and placement on shelves
– Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights of up to 20 feet as required
– Capability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
– Experience with basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Knowledge of, and ability to use, essential tools required for the role
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
– A personal cell phone and valid email address are required
– Professional appearance and demeanor
– Appropriate job-site footwear is mandatory
