Travel General Laborer – Night Shift

SPAR is expanding our overnight construction team and seeking dedicated and reliable full-time laborers. Ideal candidates will be willing to travel for extended durations and work during the hours of 9 PM to 6 AM. Proficiency with tools and a keen willingness to learn are essential as team members will engage in projects within home improvement retail chains, including the assembly and management of heavy steel and pallet racking.

Responsibilities:
– Perform physically demanding construction tasks
– Work overnight to remodel large-scale retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Relocate products from old to new pallet racking systems
– Build and assemble retail shelving fixtures
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
– Engage in significant physical activity, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
– Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight from 9 PM to 6 AM
– Follow instructions for tagging, rotating, and organizing products on shelves
– Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights of 20 feet as required
– Capacity to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
– Experience using basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Familiarity with basic tools necessary for the job
– Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license
– Required personal cell phone and valid email address
– Professional appearance and demeanor are essential
– Appropriate work footwear must be worn on the job site
