Job description:
Travel General Laborer – Night Shift – $18/hour

SPAR is expanding our overnight construction team and is seeking dedicated and dependable full-time laborers. Our ideal candidates are willing to travel for extended periods and work nights from 9 PM to 6 AM. Candidates should possess a willingness to learn and demonstrate familiarity with basic tools. You will be part of a traveling team working within home improvement retail environments, focusing on the assembly and installation of heavy steel racking and pallet racking systems.

What You’ll Do:
– Engage in physically demanding construction work
– Undertake overnight remodeling of large retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Relocate product from old to new pallet racking systems
– Assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
– Participate in physically intensive activities, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
– Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight from 9 PM to 6 AM
– Capable of following directions regarding tagging, rotating, and shelf placement of products
– Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights up to 20 feet as required
– Repeatedly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
– Experience using basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Familiarity with basic tools essential for the job
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
